Lizard Overboard!

Prince Valiant has the antediluvian horror hot on his tail in pursuit of her egg, but Val hurls it into the sea:

One would think this is the end of the arc, but next week’s installment is called “Mother and Child”, so maybe we’ve got more giant monitor lizard to come.

Don’t even try pretending to be disappointed.
