I haven't read the books (I tried, but couldn't but after reading the Silmarillion and Clark Ashton Smith it was a bit hard to get into for me) but of all the films I find this one probably as close tie to my favorite compared to Prisoner of Azkaban. Although I do find it amusing that the kids (who are supposed to be around 16) find snogging a big deal. At 16 I had already....well, never mind.
