–How many of 'us' use them, and if so, of what sort?
Ah. Comment caught in the spam filter for some unknown reason.
Personally, I’d like to see a good + simple spell backfire system. I’ve tried tinkering with various things, but it always ends up being both too onerous to use in game and too deadly to spellcasters.
Maybe something that dealt 1 hit point of damage per spell level if it “backfired” would be workable, but I still don’t know how to work out a backfire in the first place.
